Number Of Ingredients 6

1 bottle white wine (chardonnay, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, or similar)
1/3 cup peach schnapps
1/4 cup sugar, or to taste (or stevia, agave, or another sweetener)
3/4 cup mango chunks, frozen (you could use fresh but save money and buy frozen, plus they act as "ice cubes")
3/4 cup pineapple chunks, canned
1/3 cup pineapple juice (use whatever is in the can)

Steps:

  • Combine first three ingredients in a large pitcher and stir until sugar dissolves. Add the remaining ingredients, stir, and refrigerate until chilled. I have successfully stored leftover sangria in my refrigerator for up to one week; your mileage may vary. Note: Flavors marry and mellow as time elapses. Sangria gets better 8 to 24 hours later, similar to spaghetti sauce. You can (and should) make this a day ahead of time for a party or event if time and planning permits. Recipe is highly flexible; use whatever frozen (or fresh) fruit you have on hand; berries, oranges, nectarines, peaches, etc. Use whatever wine and liquor you have such as Midori, Hyptoniq, Gran Marnier, Chambord, lemon/lime/peach flavored vodka, Malibu, etc.

1 bottle white wine (Spanish table wine)
3 ounces brandy
2 ounces triple sec
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pineapple juice
2 ounces simple syrup (equal parts sugar and water brought to a boil for 2 minutes in a small saucepan) and cooled
3 ounces white peach puree (peel peaches, remove pit and puree in a blender with a small amount of water)
Fresh peaches, oranges, and apples sliced

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a pitcher and stir to mix. Refrigerate at least 8 hours or up to 48 hours. Serve over ice.

1 bottle (750 ml) sauvignon blanc or other white wine
2 cups lemonade
1/2 cup orange liqueur
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3 medium peeled peaches, pitted and halved
1/4 fresh pineapple, peeled and cut into 4 slices

Steps:

  • Make sangria by combining wine, lemonade and liqueur. Refrigerate. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine melted butter, sugar and cinnamon. I love this homemade sangria that my Grandfather taught me to make when I was young wife. He told me he had learn to make when he was working down in Mexico in his younger days. It is easy but it does takes time to cure between steps. We have had mango sangria, peach-mango sangria, or pear-pineapple sangria. You can garnish with blueberries, mint leaves, or fresh peach slices if you would like.

4 large fresh peaches - peeled, pitted, and sliced
1 cup hot water
½ cup light brown sugar
1 pinch ground cinnamon
2 ½ cups dry white wine
½ cup triple sec liqueur
1 (750 milliliter) bottle sparkling white wine, chilled
