Spicy Peach-Glazed Pork Chops image

Sweet and spicy boneless pork chops made with a special sauce that includes peach preserves and white wine. Serve with sweet potato latkes.

1 cup peach preserves
1 ½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon chile paste
4 boneless pork chops
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 pinch ground cinnamon
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
½ cup white wine

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix together the peach preserves, Worcestershire sauce, and chile paste. Rinse pork chops, and pat dry. Sprinkle the chops with ginger, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chops for about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan, and set aside.
  • Pour white wine into the pan, and stir to scrape the bottom of the pan. Stir in the peach preserves mixture. Return the chops to the pan, and flip to coat with the sauce. Reduce heat to medium low, and cook the pork chops for about 8 minutes on each side, or until done.

3 tablespoons peach jam
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 (4 ounce) boneless pork chops
2 green onions, chopped

Steps:

  • In a bowl, mix the reserved peach syrup, peach jam, Dijon mustard, and curry powder.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat, and cook the pork chops 10 minutes, or to desired doneness.
  • Add the green onions to the skillet, and cook 1 minute until tender. Spoon the syrup mixture and peaches over the pork chops. Continue cooking until heated through.

4 tsp. mild curry powder
1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp. light brown sugar
2 1/2 tsp. kosher salt, divided
1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
4 (1"-thick) small bone-in pork chops (about 2 lb. total)
8 small sweet potatoes (about 1 1/2 lb.), scrubbed, sliced in half lengthwise
1 cup plain whole-milk Greek yogurt
3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
4 small radishes, thinly sliced
1 cup pomegranate arils

Steps:

  • Arrange a rack in top third of oven; preheat to 450°F. Stir curry, pepper, brown sugar, and 2 tsp. salt in a small bowl.
  • Rub an 18x13" rimmed baking sheet with oil. Sprinkle pork chops and potatoes with spice mixture on prepared pan to evenly coat, then arrange in an even layer with potatoes cut side down.
  • Roast until pork is golden brown and cooked through and potatoes are deeply browned on cut sides and fork-tender, about 20 minutes. (The pork might finish cooking before the potatoes do; if so, transfer pork to a cutting board and let rest, then continue roasting the potatoes until done.)
  • Meanwhile, whisk yogurt, lemon juice, and remaining 1/2 tsp. salt in a medium bowl.

  • Small sweet potatoes work best for cooking at the same rate as the pork chops and fitting on one sheet pan since you can tuck them between the chops. If you can't find small sweet potatoes, use larger ones, cut them into wedges, and turn them halfway through roasting.

1 (29 ounce) can sliced peaches, drained and syrup reserved

1/3 cup peach jam
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
12 ounces green beans, trimmed
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1 1/2 cups instant flour, such as Wondra
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 large egg white
Vegetable oil, for frying
4 1/4-inch-thick boneless pork loin chops (about 1 pound), trimmed

Steps:

  • Cook the jam, ketchup, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce and 3 tablespoons water in a large skillet over medium-high heat, whisking, until thickened, about 5 minutes. Whisk in the vinegar, then the butter, a few pieces at a time; whisk in a few tablespoons water if the sauce is too thick. Remove from the heat and cover. Put the green beans in a microwave-safe bowl; sprinkle with water and season with salt and pepper. Cover with plastic wrap, pierce the plastic and microwave until tender, 8 to 10 minutes. 4 pork chops (1/2 inch thick)
2 tablespoons butter, divided
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup water
1-1/2 cups diced unpeeled tart apples
1/2 cup raisins, optional
3 tablespoons orange marmalade
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 to 2 tablespoons curry powder
4 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cold water
Hot cooked rice or macaroni

Steps:

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops in 1 tablespoon of butter; drain and set aside. , In the same skillet, saute onion in remaining butter until tender. Add water, apples, raisins if desired, marmalade, lemon juice, curry, sugar and pepper; mix well. Bring to a boil. , Return pork chops to skillet. I adopted this apple and pork chop curry. I tried smoothing out the sauce and Hubby said ummmm no then I changed the friut from Apple to peach and Hubby said yes...So ignore the changes in the comments with half and half and just make as written. You will love it...

2 Tbsp olive oil
4 pork chops, boneless and trimmed
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 small red bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
1 can(s) 16 oz sliced peaches
1/2 c chicken stock
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon, ground
1/2 tsp cumin, ground
parsley, fresh and chopped

Steps:

  • 1. In a heavy frypan, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • 2. Cook pork chops until browned on both sides and almost cooked through; remove from pan and set aside.
  • 3. Over medium heat, cook the onion, garlic, peaches and red pepper strips for 2 minutes or until softened.
  • 4. Blend chicken stock with cornstarch; add to pan along with curry powder, cumin and cinnamon; cook for 1 or 2 minutes until slightly reduced and thickened.
  • 5. Return pork chops to frypan; adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • 6. Cook for 1 or 2 minutes or until heated through.
  • 7. Serve pork chops with sauce and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley or coriander.
  • 8. Serve with quick-cooking couscous flavored with chopped green onions and raisins.
