PARMESAN POPCORN RECIPE
This easy stovetop parmesan popcorn is buttery, salty, and bursting with cheese flavor. This is the best popcorn seasoning flavor if you ask me. It is perfect for a quick snack, games night, girl's night in, kids party, and many more.

Steps:
- Heat the oil until hot on medium-high heat in a shallow pot.
- Add popcorn kernel to the hot oil and stir to combine or move around the pot quickly. Cover the pot with a lid and wait for the popcorn to start popping, this should be around 50 seconds to 1 minute.
- When the popping slows down, carefully lift the pot from the heat and give a good shake. Return it to the heat and take it off once the popping stops. Transfer the popcorn to a large bowl.
- Place a small saucepan on medium heat, add butter and heat until melted, skim the foam off the melted butter from time to time. Once the butter starts changing color add grated parmesan, salt, and pepper and stir to combine. Take it off the heat immediately, don't worry if the parmesan cheese begins to brown as long as it is not burnt then it is fine.
- Drizzle the butter parmesan sauce over the popcorn and mix to combine until well coated. Transfer to a large bowl and serve. Enjoy!

Steps:
- Put oil in frying pan. Turn the hotplate onto it's highest setting.
- Test that the oil is at the correct temperature by putting one kernel of corn into the pan - when the oil is ready, the kernel will begin to turn around in the oil and sizzle.
- Turn down the hotplate temperature by half. Empty the half-cup of popping corn into the pan, and put on the pan's lid.
- Shake the pan back and forth on the hotplate regularly to prevent the corn from burning - especially once the sound of popping corn commences.
- When most of the popping stops, turn off the hotplate. Keep the pan on the hotplate though, as the remaining heat will finish off the remaining kernels. Keep shuffling the pan back and forth until all popping has ceased.
- When all popping has ceased, take pan off the hotplate completely. Take the lid off the pan, and pour popped corn into a large mixing/serving bowl.
- Sprinkle the salt and pepper over, and use your hands to shake it through the popcorn.
- Sprinkle the parmesan over, using your hands to evenly disperse it through the popcorn.
- Sprinkle the paprika, smoked paprika and garlic powder over, and mix it through with your hands until evenly dispersed.
- Serve immediately.

Steps:
- Combine the Parmesan, garlic salt, paprika, pepper, salt and turmeric in a small bowl. Combine the popping corn and melted butter in a large pot. Cover and cook over medium heat, shaking the pot with increasing frequency as the popping increases. Continue until the popping is reduced to a couple of seconds between pops, then remove from the heat and transfer the popcorn to a large brown bag. Drizzle the popcorn with the olive oil and sprinkle about 3 tablespoons of the seasoning into the bag. Shake up the popcorn. Sprinkle with additional seasoning to taste and serve warm.
