Ingredients

3 ounces white rum
2 ounces fresh grapefruit juice
1 ounce fresh key lime juice
1 ounce maraschino cherry juice

Steps:

Place rum and juices in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake until frosty.
Pour into a large wide-mouthed glass, such as s large daiquiri or martini glass and serve.

The Hemingway daiquiri is a classic cocktail created in Cuba. Also called the Papa Doble, it adds maraschino and grapefruit to the rum daiquiri.

Ingredients

2 ounces white rum
1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
1/2 ounce grapefruit juice (fresh)
3/4 ounce lime juice (fresh)
Optional: 1/4 ounce simple syrup
Garnish: lime wheel

Steps:

Gather the ingredients.
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the rum, maraschino liqueur, and grapefruit and lime juices. Add the simple syrup if desired.
Shake well .
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass .
Garnish with a lime wheel . Serve and enjoy.
