3/4 cup fresh orange juice (4 oranges)
1/4 cup fresh lime juice (4 limes)
1 ounce triple sec
3 1/2 ounces tequila
1/4 cup sugar for rim, optional

Steps:

  • Pour sugar onto a plate. Then take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of your glasses. Dip the glasses into sugar to line the rim. Fill glasses halfway with ice.
  • Squeeze juice from oranges and limes?and pour into cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Measure triple sec and tequila and add to cocktail shaker.
  • Shake and pour into two glasses.

1 cup freshly squeeze orange juice
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1/4 cup triple sec
6 oz. (170 g) tequila
2 tablespoons sugar
fresh lime wedges for garnishing

Steps:

  • Add some kosher salt on a flat plate. Rub the rims of the glasses with some water to wet it. Over turn the glass and dip the rim in the salt, make sure the rim is nicely coated with salt.
  • Combine the orange juice, lime juice, Triple sec, tequila and sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolve. Add more orange juice, lime juice, tequila and/or sugar to get to your desired taste.
  • Fill the glass with some ice cubes and a couple of lime wedges. Pour the orange-lime margarita into the glasses and drink immediately.

2 cups sugar
chipped ice
1 cup fresh lime juice
1 cup tequila
1/2 cup orange liqueur
1 lime
1/4 cup coarse salt

Steps:

  • In a small heavy saucepan, combine the water and sugar.
  • Cook over medium heat until it forms a clear syrup, about 10 minutes.
  • Set aside and allow the syrup to cool completely.
  • Fill a large pitcher half full with chipped ice; stir in the lime juice, orange juice, sugar syrup, tequila, and orange liqueur.
