1 sprig fresh oregano
1 sprig fresh thyme
1 cup olive oil
ΒΌ cup balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a medium glass mixing bowl combine the oregano, thyme, oil, vinegar, salt and pepper. Mix together and pour mixture into a bottle, using a funnel to keep yourself from losing oil. Cover tightly and store at room temperature.

1 egg
2 small garlic cloves, mashed
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons wine vinegar

Steps:

  • Combine egg, garlic, and oil; beat with rotary beater until thick.
  • Blend in cheese, salt, and cayenne.
  • Add vinegar to taste; mix well.
  • Serve with Romaine lettuce and croutons.
