My whole family loves Olive Garden's Salad! There are already a couple of recipes here for the dressing, so here is a recipe for the salad itself.

1 (12 ounce) bag iceberg garden salad
1/4 small red onion, sliced paper-thin
6 -12 pitted black olives
6 mild pepperoncini peppers
1 -2 small roma tomato, sliced
1/2 cup crouton
Italian dressing (or use a recipe for Olive Garden's House Dressing)
freshly grated parmesan cheese, to taste
fresh ground black pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • In a large glass or wooden salad serving bowl, toss together the lettuce mix, onion slices, olives, pepperoncini, tomatoes, and croutons. Add dressing and toss to combine.
  • Serve with fresh Parmesan cheese and black pepper to taste.

SALAD:
1 bag Dole American Blend Salad
1 red onion sliced
4 black olives
6 pepperoncinis
1 cup croutons
1 medium sized tomato
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
DRESSING:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup vinegar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons Romano cheese
Sugar (optional)

Steps:

  • Chill salad bowl 30 minutes. Put salad mix in bowl, add onions, olives, pepperoncinis, croutons, tomatoes and cheese on top of the salad. Mix ingredients of dressing in a blender. Sweeten with sugar if too tart for your taste. Dressing can be stored for 10 days in refrigerator.

Steps:

  • Chop the greens smaller, if desired, and then place in a large bowl.
  • Add the sliced tomatoes, olives, croutons, and red onion. Add the cheese, pepperoncini, and additional mix-ins (see notes), if desired.
  • Drizzle the desired amount of dressing over the top and toss with salad tongs. Serve immediately.

¼ cup shredded carrots
½ cup whole black olives
⅓ cup shaved or freshly grated parmesan (more to taste)
1 cup garlic croutons
pepperocinis
1 .7 ounce Zesty Italian Dressing Mix
¾ cup extra virgin olive oil
⅓ cup white vinegar
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon dijon mustard
1 tablespoon mayo
½ teaspoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon herbs de Provence (optional)
½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
cracked black pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl toss together lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, onions, and olives.
