BURGER AND VEGGIE FOIL PACKS

Steps:
- Heat oven to 450°. Cut four 18x12-inch sheets of aluminum foil.
- Mix beef, Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend, the onion powder and salt. Shape mixture into 4 patties, about 1/4 inch thick.
- Place 1 patty on each foil sheet about 2 inches from 12-inch side. Top each with 1/2 cup vegetables and 8 steak fries. Place 1 piece of corn next to each patty. Divide remaining 1/2 teaspoon garlic-pepper blend among vegetables. Bring up 2 sides of foil so edges meet. Seal edges, making tight 1/2-inch fold; fold again, allowing space for heat circulation and expansion. Fold other sides to seal.Place packets on large cookie sheet.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160°F. Place packets on plates. To serve, cut large X across top of each packet; carefully fold back foil.

- In a large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat; saute onion 2 minutes. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in carrot and spices; cook and stir until carrot is tender, 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat., In a large bowl, mash pinto and black beans using a potato masher. Stir in mustard, soy sauce, ketchup and carrot mixture. Add oats, mixing well. Shape into eight 3-1/2-in. patties. , Place burgers on an oiled grill rack over medium heat or on a greased rack of a broiler pan. Grill, covered, or broil 4 in. from heat until lightly browned and heated through, 4-5 minutes per side. Serve on buns with lettuce and salsa.

- GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. In medium bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, barbecue sauce and pepper; mix well. Shape mixture into four 3-inch patties. Place each patty on 18x12-inch piece of heavy-duty foil; top each with 1/4 of the beans and onion rings. Wrap each packet securely with double-fold seals. When ready to grill, place packets, seam side up, on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 20 to 30 minutes or until meat is no longer pink in center. OVEN DIRECTIONS: Heat oven to 350°F. Prepare recipe as directed above. Place packets, seam side up, in 15x10xl-inch baking pan. Bake at 350°F. for 20 to 30 minutes or until meat is no longer pink in center.
