1 pound ground beef or turkey
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (14.5 ounce) can Mexican or chili-style stewed tomatoes, undrained
½ cup water
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
2 cups elbow macaroni or small shells, cooked and drained
2 cups Sargento ® Shredded Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Mexican Cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Cook ground beef, onion and green pepper in large skillet over medium heat 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink; pour off drippings. Add tomatoes, water and taco seasoning; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Toss pasta with meat mixture. Spoon 3 cups of mixture into an 11x7-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese; top with remaining meat mixture. Cover with foil; bake in preheated 375 degrees F oven 30 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Return to oven 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Number Of Ingredients 12

28 oz diced tomatoes with juice
2 c spicy v-8 juice
1 Tbsp chili powder
2 tsp oregano, dried
1 can(s) kidney beans, drained
1/8 c brown sugar, firmly packed
2 lb lean ground beef, browned
10 oz light fluffy wide egg noodles
1 chopped onion
1 stalk(s) celery plus 2 inside stalks with leaves
1 large green pepper
heaping tablespoon of fresh garlic

Steps:

  • 1. Boil your egg noodles and set aside. Bring all ingredients to a boil then simmer for 45 minutes with lid on. If u like it hot then add jalapeños in this mixture. Keep checking on this cuz everyone's stove works differently. Stir every 15 mins.
  • 2. When u have reached 45 mins. then carefully fold in your noodles. Leave lid off and warm noodles up at least 12-15 mins or so.
  • 3. Some of my family like to melt mozzarella cheese or some like sharp cheddar on top, its your choice.

2 lb ground beef
1 large box of medium shells
1 jar(s) of your favorite spaghetti sauce; 24 oz.
1 pkg of Chili-o-seasoning
1 small onion
Parmesan cheese for garnish, optional
1 loaf of your favorite garlic bread (optional)

Steps:

  • 1. Finely chop onion. Set aside.
  • 2. In a large Dutch oven, brown hamburger and onion until hamburger is no longer pink and the onion is translucent. Drain off excess fat. Return to pot.
  • 3. Add spaghetti sauce.
  • 4. Add the Chili-o-seasoning. Stir.
  • 5. In another large pot boil the shells until al dente.
  • 6. Drain.
  • 7. Combine meat mixture with shells and stir carefully as to not tear the shells.
  • 8. Garnish with Parmesan cheese. Enjoy.

1 medium green pepper, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 pounds ground beef
2 cans (28 ounces each) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 to 2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 cans (16 ounces each) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Tortilla chips, optional

Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven or large soup kettle, saute green pepper, onions and celery in oil until tender, about 5 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 1-1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Add kidney beans. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes longer. If desired, serve with tortilla chips.
