O'HENRY RICE KRISPIE BARS

O'Henry Rice Krispie Bars image

These are a Christmas staple in my house. I remember standing on a chair and making these with my mother when I was probably 5 or 6. They're easy, yummy, and keep well for an extended period of time. They also freeze well. Prep time is set up time, Cook time is how long it takes to get the mixture in the pan. (I live at high altitude, this will be slightly shorter at lower altitudes)

NOT YOUR GRANDMA'S RICE KRISPIE BARS

Not Your Grandma's Rice Krispie Bars image

These may look like my grandma's rice krispie bars however, they have a twist...Cake Batter Rice Krispie Bars! I used yellow cake mix but I'm assuming these would be even better with Funfetti cake mix! I also used I Can't Believe It's Not Butter instead of butter. Either works! *Note* These do not contain cake batter or eggs (for people who just don't understand!)
