2 pounds chicken wings, separated at joints, tips discarded
salt to taste
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; coat the aluminum foil with cooking spray.
  • Arrange the wings on the prepared baking sheet so they do not touch; season with salt.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until browned and crispy on top, about 20 minutes. Flip the wings with tongs and cook until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 20 minutes more.
  • Stir together the Dijon mustard, yellow mustard, honey, cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and hot sauce in large mixing bowl. Add the wings to the bowl and toss with a spatula to coat evenly. Allow to sit for about five minutes and toss again to re-coat. Transfer to a plate to serve.

3 pounds chicken wings, cut in half at joints, wing tips removed
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup whole-grain mustard
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 scallion, thinly sliced, for serving

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Season wings with salt and pepper, toss with oil, and arrange in a single layer on a parchment‐lined rimmed baking sheet. Roast, flipping once, until golden and cooked through, about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, whisk together marmalade, mustards, and cayenne.
  • Brush wings all over with marmalade mixture; return to oven and roast until caramelized, 10 to 20 minutes. Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with scallions and serve.

2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/4 cup dijon-style mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 lbs chicken wings, wing tips cut off and reserved for stock
2 cups fine fresh rye breadcrumbs
2 teaspoons caraway seeds

Steps:

  • In a bowl whisk together the mayonnaise, the vinegar, the mustard and the salt,add the wings,toss them until they are coated well.
  • In another bowl toss together well the bread crumbs and the caraway seeds and coat the wings with the crumb mixture.
  • Bake the wings on a rack in a shallow roasting pan in a preheated 450F oven ,turning them once, for 30 to 35 minutes or until they are browned lightly.

I was on a hunt for a recipe that was similar to one that we love from a restaurant called Oregano's in Arizona...I found this one on allrecipes ...it's real close...I added an option (in step 5) this makes them more like the "Italian Gold Wings" that the restaurant serves...I posted another photo they are the ones on the purple plate...

salt
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; coat the foil with cooking spray.

Here's another recipe I found on line while searching for the "Oregano's" (restaurant in Arizona) Italian Gold chicken wings...this one is not even close...but it sure is tasty...hope you enjoy it...=)

2 lbs chicken wings (remove the tip and cut at the joint)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
salt and pepper
1/3 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and coat with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Toss the wings with vegetable oil, salt and pepper.
  • Pour onto prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, flipping them over after 15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile prepare sauce mixture by putting Dijon mustard, honey, dry mustard powder and garlic powder in a bowl, mix well and set aside.
  • Drizzle sauce over wings, turn to coast and bake for another 20 to 30 minutes, or until cooked through, turning as needed so they do not stick.
  • Pour wings into a serving platter and enjoy.

12 chicken wings (about 3 pounds)
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
Dash pepper
1-1/2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon liquid smoke, optional
Optional: Sliced jalapeno peppers, finely chopped red onion and sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Using a sharp knife, cut through the 2 wing joints; discard wingtips. Sprinkle chicken with a dash of salt and pepper. Broil 4-6 in. from the heat until golden brown, 6-8 minutes on each side. Transfer to a greased 5-qt. slow cooker. , Combine the ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, liquid smoke if desired, and remaining salt; pour over wings. Toss to coat. , Cover and cook on low until chicken is tender, 2-3 hours. If desired, top with jalapenos, onion and sesame seeds to serve. Freeze option: Freeze cooled fully cooked wings in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Reheat wings in a foil-lined 15x10x1-in. baking pan in a preheated 325° oven until heated through, covering if necessary to prevent browning. Serve as directed.
