Number Of Ingredients 9

2 cups water boiling
3 tea bags
1 (32-ounce) bottle cranberry juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
20 allspice whole
20 cloves whole
2 cinnamon sticks 3-inch, broken in half
1 (750-milliliter) bottle dry red wine
Orange slices studded with whole cloves (optional)

Steps:

  • In a teapot or small heatproof bowl, pour boiling water over tea bags cover and let stand 5 minutes. Remove tea bags. In a large saucepan, combine cranberry juice cocktail, brown sugar, allspice, cloves and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat simmer for 15 minutes. Remove spices. Stir in tea and wine heat through. Serve hot in mugs. Garnish with orange slices studded with cloves if desired.Note: For convenient serving, transfer hot punch to a slow cooker to keep warm.

3 tea bags
6 cups boiling water
4 cups peach nectar
1 bunch mint, trimmed and rinsed well
2 lemons, washed and thinly sliced
Ice cubes, for serving

Steps:

  • Brew the tea bags in the boiling water to make a strong tea. Discard the tea bags, and place the tea in refrigerator until chilled.
  • Combine the tea with the peach nectar in a large serving bowl or pitcher. Add the mint and lemon slices; let stand about 1 hour in the refrigerator to infuse the flavors. Add ice cubes, and serve.
