My Grandma always made this for any get-together we had down on the farm. Fast, easy, and great tasting punch! Wouldn't have a party without it!

2 (0.13 ounce) packages unsweetened lemon-lime flavored drink mix (such as KOOL-AID®)
2 cups white sugar
8 cups cold water
1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime soda (such as Sprite®), chilled

Steps:

  • Mix lemon-lime drink mix, sugar, cold water, and pineapple juice in a large bowl until sugar and drink mix have dissolved; refrigerate until cold, about 1 hour.
  • Gently stir lemon-lime soda into the punch just before serving.

A punch recipe that was my Mother's. It has a unique flavor due to the almond extract. This punch was served at my wedding in 1956.

2 cups white sugar
1 (3 ounce) package lime flavored Jell-O® mix
4 cups boiling water
1 (46 fluid ounce) can pineapple juice
2 cups bottled lemon juice (such as ReaLemon®)
2 tablespoons almond extract
4 cups cold water

Steps:

  • Mix sugar and lime gelatin mix in a large bowl.n
  • Stir 4 cups boiling water into gelatin mixture until sugar and gelatin have dissolved.n
  • Thoroughly chill gelatin mixture in refrigerator, about 1 hour.n
  • Place lime gelatin mixture into a large punch bowl; stir in pineapple juice, lemon juice, almond extract, and 4 cups cold water until thoroughly combined.n
