It wouldn't be Christmas or Thanksgiving without cranberry/raspberry baked brie

Categories     Cheese Appetizers

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 package(s) pepperidge farm puff pastry sheets
1 - wheel of brie cheese
1 can(s) whole berry cranberry sauce
1 jar(s) seedless raspberry preserves
1 - egg

Steps:

  • Roll out one puff pastry sheet on a floured surface. Combine cranberry sauce and raspberry preserves. Spoon on top of brie generously. Cover with pastry sheet and fold the edges under cheese. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with pam. Brush on whisked egg. Bake in 350 degree oven till golden brown. Let sit on baking sheet for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours before moving to serving plate. Serve with remaining cranberry/raspberry mixture on side.
  • You can use the extra pastry sheet to cut out shapes with cookie cutters (xmas trees, easter eggs, etc.) and place on top of pastry covered brie after the egg wash. Then cover it with egg wash again.
  • If you want to use apricot preserves instead of cran/raspberry, substitute with apricot preserves and after you brush egg on top sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
