5 pounds chicken wings (about 25 wings)
1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon salsa
1 teaspoon garlic salt
3 drops hot pepper sauce
Optional: Ranch salad dressing and dill pickle slices

Steps:

  • Cut chicken wings into 3 sections; discard wing tips. Place wings in a 5-qt. slow cooker., In a small bowl, combine the next 9 ingredients; pour over chicken. Stir to coat. Cook, covered, on low 3-4 hours or until chicken is tender., To serve, remove wings to a 15x10x1-in. pan; arrange in a single layer. Preheat broiler., Transfer cooking juices to a skillet; skim fat. Bring juices to a boil; cook until mixture is reduced by half, 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. , Meanwhile, broil wings 3-4 in. from heat until lightly browned, 2-3 minutes. Brush with sauce before serving. If desired, serve with ranch dressing and pickles.

4 pounds chicken wings
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 cup soy sauce
6 green onions, chopped, divided
1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Using a sharp knife, cut through the 2 wing joints; discard wing tips. Place remaining wing pieces in a 4- or 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in barbecue sauce, soy sauce and 1/4 cup chopped green onions. Cook, covered, on high 3-4 hours or until tender. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and remaining green onions.

20 chicken wings (about 4 pounds)
1 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup white wine or reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup canola oil
3 tablespoons sugar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger

Steps:

  • Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tips. Place in a large resealable plastic bag. In a small bowl, whisk remaining ingredients until blended. 20 whole chicken wings (4 pounds)
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Oil for deep-fat frying
SAUCE:
1-1/2 cups butter, cubed
1/3 cup hot pepper sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons chili sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Steps:

  • Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tip sections. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the flours, salt, paprika and cayenne. Add wings, a few at a time, and shake to coat., In an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat 1 in. of oil to 375°. Fry six to eight wings at a time for 3-4 minutes on each side or until juices run clear, adding more oil as necessary. Drain on paper towels. Transfer wings to a large bowl and keep warm. , In a large saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients. Cook and stir over medium heat for 10 minutes or until butter is melted.
