1 1/2 quarts water
1/2 cup powdered instant chocolate drink mix
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup instant coffee granules
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1/2 gallon chocolate ice cream
1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
1/4 cup shaved milk chocolate (optional)

Steps:

  • 1.Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan; remove from heat and stir in chocolate drink mix, sugar, and coffee granules. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hour or overnight.
  • 2.Pour chocolate mixture in a large punch bowl about 30 minutes before serving. Scoop vanilla and chocolate ice cream into the bowl, stirring until partially melted. Garnish with dollops of whipped topping and shaved milk chocolate.
  • *note. The author said that you could also use espresso granules if you like a stronger coffee flavor.

Steps:

  • Add the drink mix, sugar, and coffee; stir until dissolved.

  • About 30 minutes before serving, pour into a punch bowl. Add the ice cream by scoopfuls; stir until partially melted. Garnish with dollops of whipped cream.

6 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup instant chocolate drink mix
1/4 cup instant coffee granules
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1/2 gallon chocolate ice cream
1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Remove from heat. Add sugar, drink mix and coffee; stir until dissolved. Refrigerate, covered, 4 hours or overnight., About 30 minutes before serving, pour mixture into a large punch bowl. Add scoops of ice cream; stir until partially melted. Top servings with whipped cream.

2-1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cup baking cocoa
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon instant coffee granules
Dash salt
3 cups milk
4 eggs, beaten
4 cups half-and-half cream
2 cups heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a large heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, cocoa, flour, coffee and salt. Gradually add milk and eggs; stir until smooth. Cook and stir over medium-low heat until mixture is thick enough to coat a metal spoon and reaches 160°, about 15 minutes. Refrigerate until chilled. Stir in the remaining in the remaining ingredients. Fill ice cream freezer cylinder two-thirds full; freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Refrigerate remaining mixture until ready to freeze. Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.

1 (24 ounce) bottle hershey chocolate syrup

4 cups strong brewed coffee, chilled
1 cup other coffee-flavored liqueur or 1 cup amaretto-flavored nondairy liquid creamer
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 quart chocolate ice cream
1 quart coffee ice cream
semisweet chocolate shavings

Steps:

  • Combine the first four ingredients in a large pitcher; cover and chil.
  • Pour chilled mixture into a large punch bowl.
  • Scoop chocolate and coffee ice creams into punch; stir gently.
  • Sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
