1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 lb shrimp, cleaned
1/2 lb scallops, cut up if large ones
1/2 lb crabmeat
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon thyme
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/8 teaspoon basil
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons cooking sherry
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Melt butter and oil in lg skillet.
  • Add all the seafood and cook and stir for 2 minutes.
  • Add seasonings, mix well.
  • Mix cream and sherry; add to skillet.
  • Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the parmesan cheese.

1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, deveined (tail on or peeled)
3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
3/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (or substitute standard paprika)
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon onion powder
3/4 teaspoon cumin
3 tablespoons butter or olive oil
3 lemon wedges
Fresh cilantro or parsley, for garnish

Steps:

  • Thaw the shrimp, if frozen. Pat the shrimp dry. In a medium bowl, mix the shrimp with the salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin.
  • In a large skillet, heat the butter on medium high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 1 to 2 minutes per side until just opaque and cooked through, turning them with tongs.
  • Spritz with juice of the lemon wedges and serve immediately.

1 large onion, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup white wine or chicken broth
1 can (28 ounces) diced fire-roasted tomatoes
1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon minced fresh oregano or 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 package (16 ounces) linguine
1 pound sea scallops
9 ounces uncooked large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
Shredded Parmesan cheese, optional

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, saute onion in butter and oil until tender.Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Add wine. Bring to a boil; cook until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Add the tomatoes, rosemary, sugar, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes., Meanwhile, cook linguine according to package directions. Add scallops and shrimp to tomato mixture; cook for 4-5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink and scallops are opaque. Stir in parsley. , Drain linguine. Serve seafood mixture with linguine; garnish with cheese if desired.

1 lb crabmeat or 1 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined
12 ounces dry linguine
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups sliced onions
2 cloves garlic, peeled and minced
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup white wine
2 cups peeled seeded and diced tomatoes
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup green onion, 1/2 inch sliced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon seafood seasoning, to taste
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Steam lobsters in one inch of water for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • Remove from pot and cool.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup of cooking liquid.
  • Pick meat out of the shells and dice in large pieces.
  • Carefully extract claw meat and leave whole.
  • Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
  • Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add onion and garlic and sauté for 5 to 8 minutes or until onion is soft.
  • Do not allow to brown.
  • Add mushrooms and cook water out of them, remove and reserve.
  • Add wine and reduce by one-half.
  • Stir in tomatoes and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add reserved lobster broth and reduce by one-forth.
  • Bring to a gentle boil, reduce heat and add reserved lobster (except for claw meat) and mushrooms, yogurt, scallions, parsley and seafood seasoning to taste.
  • Add Parmesan cheese to thicken.
  • Toss half of sauce with cooked linguine.
  • Arrange on plate; pour remaining half of sauce over each serving.
  • Top each serving with the whole claw meat.
  • to substitute other seafood- substitute shrimp or vegetable broth for lobster broth.

1 medium onion, halved and sliced
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 (14 ounce) can light coconut milk
3 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon curry paste, or more to taste
1 tablespoon brown sugar
12 medium shrimp, peeled (tails left on) and deveined
12 sea scallops, halved
6 ounces asparagus, cut into 2-inch pieces
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
salt to taste

Steps:

  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Saute onion, ginger, and garlic in hot oil until onion starts to soften, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir coconut milk, lime juice, curry paste, and brown sugar into onion mixture, bring to a simmer and cook until slightly reduced, about 5 minutes.
