We love cupcakes - and surprises. Each of these chocolate cupcakes comes with a hidden cookie surprise. But, shh... you didn't hear it from us.

1 package (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 egg
2 tablespoons white sugar
48 each Mini OREO Bite Size Cookies, divided
1 ½ cups thawed frozen whipped topping

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Prepare cake batter as directed on package. Mix cream cheese, egg and sugar until blended.
  • Spoon half the cake batter into 24 paper-lined muffin cups. Top each with about 1-1/2 teaspoon cream cheese mixture and 1 cookie; cover with remaining cake batter.
  • Bake 19 to 22 minutes or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
  • Frost with whipped topping. Top with remaining cookies.

1 (18 ounce) package chocolate cake mix (2 layer size)
1 (8 ounce) package Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
48 miniature Oreo cookies
1 1/2 cups thawed Cool Whip

Steps:

  • HEAT oven to 350°F Prepare cake batter as directed on package; spoon 1/2 evenly into 24 paper or foil-lined muffin cups, filling each cup about 1/2 full.
  • Beat cream cheese, egg and sugar until well blended. Top each with about 1-1/2 teaspoons of the cream cheese mixture and 1 cookie. Cover with remaining cake batter.
  • BAKE 19 to 22 minute or until toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool 5 min.; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. (There may be an indentation in top of each cupcake after baking.).
  • FROST cupcakes with COOL WHIP. Garnish with remaining cookies.

1 egg
2 Tbsp sugar
48 mini oreo bite size cookies
1 1/2 cups of thawed cool whipped topping
OR IF YOU LIKE YOU CAN USED VANILLA FROASTING INSTEAD OF COOL WHIPPED
1 can(s) vanilla froasting

Steps:

  • 1. heat oven to 350*
  • 2. prepared cake batter as directed on package, Mix cream cheese, egg and sugar until well blended
  • 3. spoon half the cake batter into 24 paper lined muffin cups. top each one wit about 1 1/2 tsp . cream cheese mixture and 1 cookie; cover with the remaining cake batter
  • 4. Bake 19 to 22 min, or until toothpick inserted in center come out clean, cool 5 min; remove from pans to wire racks, cool completely.

Steps:

  • Put the oven on at 275oF / 135oC. Put the Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Sugar, and Vanilla into a bowl and mix together. Put the eggs into mixture and beat together.
  • Place cupcakes cases into a cupcake tin and place an Oreo cookie in the bottom of each case. Then spoon the mixture on top of each Oreo. then crumble an Oreo on top of the mixture.
  • Put the cupcakes in the oven for 22mins.
  • Take the cupcakes out of the oven and cool, then refrigerate for 3 hours. Enjoy...
