One 12-ounce can refrigerated biscuit dough
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted
3 tablespoons maple syrup
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Place 24 mini cupcake liners in the cups of a mini-muffin pan. (Alternatively, use twelve 3-inch mini cast-iron pans.) With kitchen shears, cut each biscuit into 8 pieces. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and maple syrup. In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar, pecans and cinnamon. Dip each biscuit piece in the maple-butter, and then roll it in the sugar mixture. Place 3 to 4 coated pieces in each muffin cup (or 5 to 6 pieces in each cast-iron pan), pressing to compact.
  • Bake the muffins until browned, 15 to 17 minutes. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks. Serve warm.

I am not good at making homemade bread, but this Mini Garlic Monkey Bread requires pre-made biscuit dough, so this recipe is pretty much fail proof.

2 (7.5 oz) cans buttermilk biscuits
6 tablespoons butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for sprinkling on top

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Lightly grease a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters and place into a bowl.
  • Combine butter, garlic, parsley and 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese. Pour over biscuit pieces.
  • Gently toss together and make sure everything is evenly coated with the butter mixture.
  • Place 6-7 biscuit pieces in each muffin cup. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 12-14 minutes or until golden. Serve warm.

2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

3 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 teaspoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Cut each biscuit into six pieces. In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic, parsley, thyme and chives. Place Parmesan cheese in another bowl. Dip biscuit pieces in butter mixture, then roll in cheese. Place in two 4-in. tube pans coated with cooking spray. , Bake at 375° for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers Buttermilk Biscuits (8 Count)
1/2 cup chive & onion cream cheese spread, from 7.5-oz container
1 tablespoon everything bagel seasoning

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Brush 12 regular-size muffin cups with 1 tablespoon of the melted butter.
  • Separate dough into 8 biscuits. Split each biscuit in half to make 16 biscuit rounds. Cut each biscuit round into 3 triangle-shaped pieces. Press each piece to 2 inches in diameter, and fill with 1/2 teaspoon cream cheese spread. Fold over dough, and gently crimp it around cream cheese to form a ball.
  • Place 4 balls in each muffin cup; brush generously with remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning on top of each mini monkey bread.
  • Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown on top. Cool 5 minutes. Gently remove from muffin cups.

2 can(s) (7.5oz) buttermilk biscuits
6 Tbsp butter, melted
3 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
1/4 c grated parmesan cheese plus 2 tbsp to sprinkle on top if desired

Steps:

  • 1. Cut biscuits into 4 pieces and place in bowl. I like to use kitchen shears or a pizza cutter.
  • 2. Combine the melted butter,garlic, parsley and 1/4C Parmesan cheese together and pour over biscuit pieces.
  • 3. Gently toss the biscuit pieces to get evenly coated with the butter mixture.
  • 4. Using a 12 cup muffin tin, place 6-7 pieces of dough into each muffin cup. Use the add'l 2Tbsp of Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top of the bread in the muffin cups.
  • 5. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.

12 Rhodes frozen rolls, thawed but still cold
6 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 -2 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Cut each dinner roll into 6 equal pieces. In a bowl, combine butter and corn syrup and stir until well mixed. In another bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Dip each roll piece in the butter mixture and then in the sugar mixture. Place 6 pieces in each well sprayed cup of a 12 cup muffin tin. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let double in size. Remove wrap and bake at 350°F 15-20 minutes. Cool 3-4 minutes before removing from pan. Combine icing ingredients and mix well. Drizzle over monkey breads if desired.
