BAKED LEMON BUTTER TILAPIA

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice, or more, to taste
Zest of 1 lemon
4 (6-ounce) tilapia fillets
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lightly oil a 9×13 baking dish or coat with nonstick spray. In a small bowl, whisk together butter, garlic, lemon juice and lemon zest; set aside. Season tilapia with salt and pepper, to taste and place onto the prepared baking dish. Drizzle with butter mixture. Place into oven and bake until fish flakes easily with a fork, about 10-12 minutes. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley, if desired.

4 each tilapia fillets
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1 dash pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Rinse tilapia fillets under cool water, and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Place fillets in baking dish. Pour lemon juice over fillets, then drizzle butter on top. Sprinkle with garlic, parsley, and pepper.
  • Bake in preheated oven until the fish is white and flakes when pulled apart with a fork, about 30 minutes.

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
butter-flavored cooking spray
1/8 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup water

Steps:

  • Lightly sprinkle tilapia fillets on one side with garlic powder, basil, salt and pepper.
  • Spray pan with cooking spray, and place over medium high heat.
  • Let brown for about thirty seconds, then add lemon juice and water.
