4 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 cloves garlic, (finely minced)
1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Measure all ingredients into a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
  • Shake well and pour over beef to marinate.
  • Marinate beef for at least two hours.
  • Unused marinade can be safely stored in your refrigerator for 5-7 days.

1/2 cup merlot
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine Merlot, Worcestershire sauce, garlic cloves, brown sugar and black pepper.
  • Stir and add beef filets.
  • Let meat marinade for at least 10 minutes or up to 2 hours.
  • When ready to grill steaks, heat grill.
  • Place marinated beef filets on grill and cook until desired doneness.
  • Serve with the rice and vegetables.
  • Note: Add marinade mixture to a small saucepan and bring to a boil after meat has been removed.
  • Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Pour sauce over cooked filets.

1 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup beef broth
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
4 to 5 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 bay leaf
1 beef tenderloin roast (3-1/2 to 4 pounds)

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the first nine ingredients; mix well. Cover and refrigerate 1 cup for basting. Pour remaining marinade into a shallow dish; add bay leaf and tenderloin. Turn to coat; cover and refrigerate overnight., Drain and discard marinade and bay leaf. Place tenderloin on a rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 55-60 minutes or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), basting often with reserved marinade. let stand for 15 minutes before slicing.
