1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1-1/2 teaspoons dried oregano, divided
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cups meatless spaghetti sauce
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
Hot cooked fettuccine or pasta of your choice

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the bread crumbs, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 1 teaspoon oregano, basil, salt and pepper. In a bowl, combine the egg and water. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then coat with crumb mixture. In a skillet, cook chicken in butter on both sides until juices run clear. Meanwhile, combine the spaghetti sauce, garlic salt and remaining oregano in a saucepan heat through. Spoon over chicken sprinkle with mozzarella and remaining Parmesan. 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
6 boneless chicken breasts
1 jar spaghetti sauce
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Meanwhile, mix bread crumbs, salt and pepper on a plate. Line 13 x 9 inch pan with foil and coat bottom with Pam.
  • Coat chicken with bread crumbs, place in pan and coat top of chicken breasts with Pam again. Cook chicken for 20 minutes.
  • Pour sauce over chicken and cook for 10 more minutes. Then sprinkle cheese on top and cook for 5 minutes. Enjoy.
