MANGO-CURRY SPREAD

Number Of Ingredients 8

8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
8 dashes hot pepper sauce
1/2 cup pecans, , finely chopped
1/2 cup mango chutney
4 slices bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

Steps:

  • Blend together cheese, salt, curry, Worcestershire and hot pepper sauces together. Shape into a ball, then flatten to 1/2-inch thick. 2 package(s) cream cheese softened (8 oz)
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
2 1/4 teaspoon(s) curry powder
1 jar(s) mango chutney (9 oz)
1/2 cup(s) minced scallion
8 oz - bacon cooked and crumbled

Steps:

  • Beat cream cheese, salt and curry until fluffy and well blended.
  • spread into a serving dish. Cream cheese mixture should be about 1' thick and smooth on top.
  • Whirl chutney in a blender until smooth. Spread evenly over cream cheese.
  • Cover with crumbled bacon and scallions.
  • Refrigerate until serving time. This can be made 1-2 days ahead.
