MAMA BEAR'S PORRIDGE

Mama Bear's Porridge image

This is almost like rice pudding, it's a stick-to-your-ribs breakfast! Don't worry about adding raw eggs, they will cook completely in the porridge! This can also be made in the microwave, but you will need to remove a couple of times to stir.

THREE BEARS PORRIDGE

This is what my Mummy called it when we were younger, we refused to eat it without the brown sugar or the name, we thought it was special. I had it before my exams as well--it helped me concentrate and kept me going with lots of energy all the way to lunch

MAMA BEAR'S PORRIDGE (OATMEAL) COOKIES

Mama Bear's Porridge (Oatmeal) Cookies image

This recipe was one of the first recipes I ever made by myself, when I was a wee little munchkin. It was on the back of one of my favorite children's picture books: Goldilocks and the Three Bears, illustrated by Jim Aylesworth. (If you haven't heard of him, go out and buy all his books, no matter how old you are! You will not...
