CHUTNEY CHEESE BALLS
From my America's Best Recipes cookbook. Haven't tried this yet, but I love the combination of the raisins, peanuts and coconut with the curry powder and chutney. Makes 2 cheese balls. (Prep time does not include refrigeration time).

Steps:
- Combine cream cheese and sour cream in a large bowl; beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth. Add raisins and next 4 ingredients, stirring well. Shape mixture into 2 balls. Combine coconut and parsley; roll cheese balls in coconut mixture. cover and chill at least 4 hours. Top each cheese ball with chutney before serving. Serve with crackers.

CHUTNEY CREAM CHEESE BALL
I went to a party where this was served and loved it. I couldn't get the recipe so I decided to experiment until I figured it out. This is the result. It's been very popular at parties I've taken it to. Prep time includes chilling time.

Steps:
- Combine all ingredients except chutney and mix thoroughly.
- Form into a ball; wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until firm.
- Just before serving remove from refrigerator and place on a serving platter.
- Pour chutney over ball and spread with a spatula to coat evenly.
- Serve with crackers.

BERGIE'S COLONEL GREY'S CHUTNEY
Major Grey eat your heart out! If you like chutney you'll love this one. Wonderful with a curry or a ploughman's lunch. Use it on hamburgers. It can be used in so many ways to spruce up your tastebuds.

Steps:
- Heat vinegar and sugar, stirring until the sugar is melted.
- Add apples and remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil, cover and lower the heat so it is just simmering. Continue cooking until it is very dark and a nice consistency apprx 3-4 hours
- Remove Chili bag after 30 minutes
- Put in sterilized jars and seal (I use the very small 1/4 pint size jars- this recipe makes 24 This size jar is just the right size for a small dinner party)i
CURRIED CHEESE BALL WITH MANGO CHUTNEY
I had this at a party and my friend was kind enough to share her recipe. Serve this with assorted crackers, apple slices, whatever sounds good to you!Prep time does not include refrigeration time.Major Grey's Mango Chutney is what I usually use.

Steps:
- Mix together with an electric mixer the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, sherry, and curry powder.
- Refrigerate until it has firmed up- about 2-3 hours.
- Shape into a ball and place on serving plate.
- This may be made ahead and kept refrigerated.
- When ready to serve, pour some of the mango chutney over the cheese ball and serve.
