- Mix all ingredients; bake in a large sprayed loaf pan at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes. Do not over-bake, test for doneness with a toothpick. I'm going to add 1 cup drained crushed pineapple and see if it works.

- Beat applesauce and honey together. Beat in eggs. Stir in vanilla and bananas. Add flour and salt and combine. Add baking soda to water and allow to dissolve. Add to batter. Fold in nuts. Bake at 325 degrees in a greased loaf pan for 50-55 minutes.
