HOMEMADE LOW CALORIE GRANOLA & PROTEIN BARS
Great for a low calorie meal or snack with the right balance of Carbs, fats, and protein. Good for those on Body for Life or other eating programs with 5 to 6 meals per day.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Place first 3 ingredients in oven on cookie sheet to toast for 15 minutes.
- While they are toasting mix remaining ingredients in large bowl.
- Let oats and nuts cool after toasting for 10 minutes.
- While oats and nuts are cooling, take a glass rectangular baking dish and place a sheet of parchment paper in the bottom and coat dish with oil.
- Mix all ingredients in bowl well, and spoon into baking dish, making sure to press down into a smooth, flat layer.
- Bake for 25 minutes. let cool for 5 minutes, cut along sides with knife to loosen from pan, and then turn pan over onto a cutting board. cut into 12 individual bars. these will harden some when they cool.

LOW CALORIE CRUNCHY OAT-LESS GRANOLA
Great for the calorie counting folks, this is a wonderful base recipe for creating your very own crunchy granola-like mix! This recipe makes 2 cups of granola for only 300 calories! It is also high in fiber, and almost fat free!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 325F and spray a cookie sheet with 0 calorie cooking spray.
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl; mixture will be moist and sticky.
- Spread mixture onto the cookie sheet in a thin-ish layer.
- Bake for 30minutes, stir half way through.
- Let cool completely on the baking sheet.
- Break the granola into pieces, and if you don't mind the calories, mix it with whatever your heart desires (raisins, chocolate chips, nuts)!
- Store leftovers in airtight containers.

LOW CALORIE GRANOLA
I love granola and it's so good to snack on or eat for breakfast, but it's always so fattening and high calorie. So, I created my own recipe for yummy granola for dieting.

Steps:
- Mix all the dry ingredients together.
- Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and add all the wet ingredients into the well.
- Toss it all like a big salad until it's well mixed, but not overly so.
- Spread evenly on 2 cookie sheets and place in a preheated 350°F oven.
- Most important step, make sure you stir or mix the granola every ten minutes so that you don't end up with any burned pieces. It's kind of a pain but you'll regret it if you don't!
- Bake for 40 minutes.
