white sugar
1 long strip of lemon zest
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger citron vodka
½ ounce lime juice
1 ounce sweet and sour mix
1 cup crushed ice

Steps:

  • Moisten the edges of a martini glass with a little lime juice, and then dip moistened edges into sugar. Place lemon zest strip in glass.
  • Combine vodka, lime juice, sweet and sour mix, and ice in a shaker. Shake vigorously, and strain into a martini glass.

1/8 cup granulated sugar (for rimming)
1 lemon wedge (for rimming)
2 ounces vodka
1 ounce lemon juice (fresh)
1/2 to 3/4 ounce simple syrup (to taste)
Garnish: lemon twist

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Rim a cocktail glass with sugar : Place the sugar in a shallow dish. Wipe a lemon wedge around the glass to wet the surface, then dip it into the sugar. Set aside to dry while you mix the drink.
  • In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
  • Shake well .
  • Strain into the rimmed glass.
  • Garnish with a lemon twist. Serve and enjoy.

1 cup ice cubes
3 lemons, peel grated and juiced
2 large mint leaves
2 (1.5 fluid ounce) jiggers vodka
2 tablespoons simple syrup

Steps:

  • Moisten the rim of a martini glass with lemon juice or water, then dip in sugar. Set aside.

1 1/2 ounces vodka
1/2 ounce triple sec
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
4 -5 ice cubes
superfine sugar, for the martini glass rim
lemon twist

Steps:

  • Chill martini glasses in freezer for at least 10 minutes prior to serving.
  • Place Vodka, Triple Sec, lemon juice and sugar into a cocktail shaker with 4-5 ice cubes and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  • Run the lemon twist around the edge of the chilled martini glass and dunk in a small amount of sugar for a coated rim.
  • Pour the strained martini into the chilled glasses and serve.
