680 g hamour fillet
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
3/4 teaspoon cumin powder
2 cloves garlic, peeled,washed and finely chopped
1 1/2 teaspoons oil
2 1/4 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Place fish fillets in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle with salt, turmeric, black pepper, garlic and cumin powder, tossing to coat well.
  • Cover and marinate for 20 minutes at room temperature or longer in the refrigerator.
  • Preheat oven to 200C.
  • Coat the bottom of the baking dish with oil.
  • Place the fish in a single layer.
  • Pour the marinade over it.
  • Bake uncovered for 25 minutes.
  • The fish should be firm to touch.
  • Fish is ready when it easily flakes with a fork.
  • Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • Serve hot.

2 pounds tilapia fillets, cut into serving-sized pieces
1 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
2 tablespoons dried parsley
2 teaspoons lemon zest
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ cup melted butter

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Place tilapia pieces into the prepared baking dish. Combine bread crumbs, parsley, lemon zest, and garlic powder in a small bowl. Mix in melted butter and sprinkle mixture over fish fillets.
  • Bake in preheated oven until tilapia flakes easily with a fork, about 15 minutes.

1/3 cup light mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon peel, grated
1/2 teaspoon cracked black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
lemon wedge

Steps:

  • Arrange fish in single layer on baking sheet. Set aside.
  • In bowl, stir together mayonnaise, lemon rind, pepper and salt. Spread over fish.
