LEMON JELLO SALAD

1 (6 ounce) package lemon Jello
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
3 bananas, sliced
1 (10 ounce) package mini marshmallows
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 Tablespoon powdered sugar

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, dissolve jello in hot water. Add cold water and stir well. Pour contents into desired serving bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow it to begin to set. Add drained pineapple to jello, mix. Add bananas to jello, mix. Top with marshmallows. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 4 hours or until set. Just prior to serving, blend heavy whipping cream, vanilla and sugar. until soft peaks form. Spread whipped cream on top of Jello and serve. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days in a covered container.

1 (7 g) envelope knox gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1/4 cup boiling water
2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons dried onion flakes or 2 tablespoons fresh onions
1 (3 ounce) box lemon Jell-O gelatin
3/4 cup boiling water
1 (15 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce
1/4 cup orange juice

Steps:

  • Soften 1 envelope of Knox gelatin in 1/4 cold water.
  • Add 1/4 cup boiling water.
  • Stir until dissolved.
  • Add chicken, mayo, celery, and onion.
  • Mix well and pour into an 8 by 8 or 9 by 9 pan.
  • Chill while you prepare the topping.
  • Mix lemon jello, boiling water, cranberry sauce, and orange juice.
  • Spoon over the chicken pan mixture.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • A double recipe can be made in a 9 by 13 pan.

1 c. hot water
1 (8 oz.) package cream cheese, softened
2 c. cold water
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2-1 c. chopped nuts

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, mix both packages of jello with hot water; stir well. Beat in softened cream cheese (at low speed!). Add cold water and stir. Add pineapple, sweetened condensed milk, and mayonnaise; mix well. Sprinkle nuts on top and chill.

2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages Jell-O instant lemon pudding
2 (16 ounce) cans crushed pineapple with juice
2 cups miniature marshmallows

1 pkg lemon jello
2 can(s) pineapple drained
1 pt cottage cheese (16 oz.)
3/4 c eagle brand sweet milk (canned)
1 c salad dressing
1 tsp vinegar

Steps:

  • 1. mix lime jello and lemon jello with 2 cups boiling water let cool
  • 2. add vinegar, salad dressing and eagle brand sweet milk mix
  • 3. add cottage cheese and pineapple mix
  • 4. pour into a 9" x 12" cake pan. put in ice box to set up. To serve cut into squares and top with a dab of salad dressing. Enjoy!

2 cups boiling water
1 cup cold water

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Steps:

  • Mix the 2 packages of jello with the 2 cups boiling water. Stir to dissolve well.

JELLO SALAD:
6 oz pkg. lemon jello
2 c boiling water
1 c cold water
2 c milk,cold
3 oz pkg. instant lemon pudding
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 c pimentos, chopped, optional
1 c diced celery
2 c diced apple
SHRIMP SALAD:
1/4 to 1/2 c salad dressing(miracle whip) more or less according to taste
4 tsp lemon juice
2 Tbsp dairy sour cream
3 Tbsp sweet onion.chopped fine
2 medium celery ribs, diced
1 small cucumber, diced
2 tsp dill weed or fresh dill
4 c salad shrimp, precooked no tail

Steps:

  • 1. Jello Salad:Believe me this is awesome as a side with the shrimp salad. --- Dissolve jello in boiling water; stir in the cold water. Chill for about 1 1/2 hours; just until it jells a little.
  • 2. Prepare the pudding with the milk;chill 5 minutes. Beat the cream cheese until creamy and add the pudding mixture and the partially set jello for about 2 minutes. Fold in remaining ingredients and pour into mold or bowl and chill until set.
  • 3. Shrimp Salad: Combine all ingredients except shrimp until creamy; fold in shrimp and sprinkle top with a little dill. Serve on lettuce leaf with a side of the creamy lemon jello.

I had this jello salad at my sister-in-laws house and had to have the recipe. We have been making this for Thanksgiving for quite a few years now and everyone loves it. It is so colorful, juicy and delicious! Try it and I know you'll love it too!

1 large orange jello
1 3/4 cup(s) boiling water
2 cup(s) crushed pineapple, not drained
1 small can mandarin oranges, drained
1/2 cup(s) orange juice
TOPPING:
1 small lemon pudding, cook and serve type, not instant
2 - eggs, slightly beaten
1/3 cup(s) sugar
1 3/4 cup(s) cold water
1 cup(s) sour cream

Steps:

  • Dissolve orange jello with boiling water.
  • Add the crushed pineapple, mandarin oranges and orange juice. Stir.
  • Pour into a 9 x 13 pan. Refrigerate until set.
  • Mix lemon pudding, eggs and sugar together with 1/2 cup of the cold water in a saucepan. Blend well. Add remaining 1 1/4 cup water and cook over medium heat until thick.
  • Cool and then add sour cream. Spread over the jello and chill. Can be made 1-2 days before needed.

1 3 oz pkg lemon jello
1 cup milk
8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
12 ounces frozen raspberries, thawed and drained (2 pkgs)
4 cups boiling water
1 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
16 oz mini marshmallows
1 8oz cool whip

Steps:

  • 1. 1. Scald 1 cup milk and add 16 oz marshmallows to dissolve. Set aside. Cream Layer: 2. Cream together lemon jello and cream cheese. Stir in 1 cup boiling water. When creamed add marshmallow mixture and fold in 1 cup crushed pineapple and 8 oz cool whip. 3. Pour in 9x13 pan and place in refrigerator to set. Raspberry Layer: 4. Dissolve raspberry jello in 3 cups boiling water. When jello is dissolved stir in raspberries (thawed and drained). Pour over lemon/cream cheese mixture when the lemon layer is set. 5. Cut into squares and serve. Alternative Presentation: Spray or grease jello mold. Prepare raspberry layer first and pour into mold and place in refrigerator to set. When raspberry layer is set, prepare lemon/cream cheese mixture and pour over raspberry mixture in mold. When set, invert mold onto plate.

3 ounces orange gelatin
3 ounces lemon gelatin
2 cups boiling water
12 ice cubes
20 ounces crushed pineapple
3 bananas, sliced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups Cool Whip
grated cheese

Steps:

  • Drain pineapple and save juice.
  • Dissolve both gelatins in the boiling water.
  • Add ice and stir to melt.
  • Add drained pineapple, bananas, and lemon juice.
  • Pour into a 9"x13" dish and refrigerate while making topping.
  • Measure reserved pineapple juice in a 1 cup measuring cup & add water to make 1 cup.
  • Mix juice, water, egg yolk, flour & sugar in a saucepan.
  • Boil, stirring constantly, until thickened.
  • Cool.
  • Make Dream Whip as directed on package.
  • Add to cooked mixture.
  • Spread on top of gelatin mixture.
  • Top with some grated cheese.
  • NOTE: 1 pkg. prepared Dream Whip could be used instead of the Cool Whip.

Steps:

  • The night before prepare lemon jello as directed on box put in fridg., the next morning take jello out and I take a knife and cut it up in to cubes. Put the Dry pudding mix in a seperate bowl add coolwhip and pineapple mix well, then add marshmallows mix together. Now add to jello and mix together put back in fridg. and chill well.
