I had just made this for thanksgiving and my brother ate half of it LOL:) I love this and my family loves it too. I am looking foward to sharing this with you. Cook time includes chilling time.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese (softened)
3 green onions, chopped
1 package of armour dried beef (any dried beef will do)
1 dash of lowery season salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Chop dried beef.
  • (I put mine in a chopper) Save about 1/4 of a cup on the side.
  • Mix cream cheese, beef, onions, salt, and sauce.
  • Mix well and chill for an hour.
  • Take mixture and form a ball and roll in remaining chopped beef.
  • Then serve or chill till desired.

Had this at a friends once and loved it. i serrve it at home gatherings. I love it on waverly crackers and ritz type crackers.

8 ounces cream cheese
2 green onions (minced)
1 teaspoon divided Accent seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 (2 1/4 ounce) jar dried beef, rinsed with warm water, drained well and chop well

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients together using half of the beef.
  • Taste, add more accent if needed a little at a time.
  • Then forml into a ball.
  • roll the ball in the rest of the beef.
  • Refrigerate until firm about a hour.
  • Serve with crackers.
  • **Verygood with low fat cream cheese.
  • this recipe makes a small ball.
  • If doubling cream cheese just save 1/4 of the meat for outside.
  • **easierrolling-You may also want to let the ball firm up in fridge before placing meat on the outside.

This is a recipe my nieghbor Pam gave me a few years ago, I really love ti and it is a favorite of my Dad's. You can increase or decrease the amount of onion and mustard to your own tastes, I like it kind of extra mustardy.

1 (10 ounce) package dried beef (jar or plastic package I do not know the actual ounces)
3 tablespoons grated onions
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon mustard
2 tablespoons mayonnaise

Steps:

  • In a mini food processer, finely chop dried beef. Mix all other ingredients with the chopped dried beef and mix until combined. Form into ball and roll in nuts if desired. Serve with crackers.

I had a similar cheeseball at a party a few years back. I changed it a little and have enjoyed it many times since. Everyone that tastes it has to have the recipe. It has gotten to the point I keep the recipe on my computer so I can put copies by it when I serve it.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (2 1/2 ounce) jar of hormel or armour dried beef, chopped (You will find this by the cans of tuna.)
2 green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon Lawry's Seasoned Salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients except the nuts.
  • Roll in a ball and refrigerate over night.
  • Roll cheeseball in the chopped nuts.
  • Serve with snack crackers.
  • I prefer Wheat Thins.
