HOMEMADE KIT KAT BARS (+VIDEO)
This no-bake dessert recipe for Homemade Kit Kat Bars is a family favorite! Layers of crackers, graham crackers, chocolate and peanut butter.

Steps:
- Line an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish with layer of club crackers
- In a large saucepan, over low to medium heat, melt butter and both sugars gently - while stirring.
- Stir in graham cracker crumbs and milk. Stir well until all is melted and combined (do not allow mixture to boil.)
- Remove from heat and carefully spread half the butter mixture evenly over crackers. Spread it out as evenly as possible.
- Layer with another layer of crackers.
- Then spread the other half of the butter mixture on top.
- Then a final layer of crackers on top of that.
- In a small saucepan, combine peanut butter and chocolate chips. Melt over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until completely melted and blended.
- Spread evenly over top layer of crackers.
- Cover with plastic wrap and pop it in the fridge for an hour or two. You want that top chocolate layer to really cool down and firm up.
- Once it is completely cooled, slice into small squares.

HOMEMADE KIT KAT BAR RECIPE
Steps:
- Gather the ingredients.
- Butter a 9 x 13 baking dish. Line with a layer of about 20 crackers until bottom of dish is fully covered.
- In a small saucepan, bring butter, sugars, and milk together to a boil over medium heat. Stir in crushed graham crackers. Let boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Pour half of the sugar mixture over crackers, smoothing over crackers with a spatula. Cover with another layer of 20 crackers, pressing down lightly. Pour remaining syrup mixture over crackers, smoothing to coat.
- Top with remaining crackers, pressing lightly.
- Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in a microwave-safe dish. Heat on high for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat until chips are melted. (Alternatively, you can melt chocolate chips and peanut butter in a saucepan over low heat.)
- Pour chocolate peanut butter mixture evenly over top layer of crackers, using a spatula to smooth out bubbles and make sure crackers are completely covered.
- Refrigerate until Kit Kat bars are firm.
- Cut into thin bars to serve.

- Place a third of the crackers (about 25) in the bottom of an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. pan. , In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, melt butter. Add the milk, graham cracker crumbs and sugars; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Pour half of the mixture over crackers, carefully spreading to cover. Place half of the remaining crackers (about 25) on top. Spread with remaining sugar mixture. - Coat 13x9 pan with vegetable oil spray and line with a single layer of crackers.
- Combine butter, sugars, graham crumbs and milk in saucepan bring to boil over medium heat.
- Boil 5 minutes.
- Pour 1/2 of sauce over layer of crackers.
- Cover w/ another layer of crackers.
- Sauce layer and place 3rd layer of crackers over sauce.
- In medium saucepan combine chocolate, butterscotch and peanut butter until smooth.
- Pour over top layer of crackers.

- Place about 25 crackers in the bottom of a 9 x 13" baking dish.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and add the milk, crumbs and sugar and bring to a boil.
- Boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Pour half of heated mixture over crackers, quickly and carefully spreading to cover.
- Place about 25 more crackers on top and spread with remaining heated mixture.
- Top with remaining crackers.

- Line 9- by 13-inch rectangular baking pan with one layer of Club crackers (you may need to break some to fit).
- Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add graham cracker crumbs, dark brown sugar, milk, and granulated sugar. Bring to boil. Boil for five minutes, stirring constantly. Remove pan from heat. Pour half of butter mixture over crackers in pan. Smooth surface with spatula.
- Arrange another layer of Club crackers over butter mixture. Pour remaining butter mixture over surface. Smooth surface with spatula. Arrange a third layer of crackers over top.
- Combine peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips in small saucepan. Melt over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Spread evenly over crackers.
