Steps:
- In a small bowl, soak raisins in the dark rum (or water) for about 1 hour.
- Chop the onions, bell pepper and green chili peppers.
- Preheat the oven to 225°F.
- Heat the oil in a large nonstick frying pan over medium-low heat.
- Sauté the onions, bell pepper and green chili peppers until tender, about 10 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the raisins, cooked vegetables, meat scraps, baked beans, brown sugar, and the KC Masterpiece® sauce. Place the mixture into a large casserole dish and bake uncovered for 1 ½ - 2 hours. Add more water or beer as necessary to keep the beans from drying out.
- Remove the beans from the oven and mix well. Serve immediately.

- Dice the onion and green bell pepper.
- Cook bacon in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until crisp. Drain on paper towels, dice, and set aside. Sauté the onion and bell pepper in the same pan (utilizing the leftover bacon grease).
- Preheat oven to 350ºF
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the onions, bell pepper, bacon and white beans. Fold in the KC Masterpiece® sauce until everything is evenly coated. Transfer the mixture to a 1-quart casserole dish and cook for 20-30 minuets.

Don't let the title or ingredients scare you away from this recipe. These are the greatest baked beans I have ever had. This recipe came from my oldest daughter's sister-in-law's father. Great for BBQs. I never have any leftovers. I hope you like them and leave your feedback.

- Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the bacon, ground beef, and onion in the skillet until the bacon and ground beef are completely browned, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain any excess fat, and transfer to a casserole dish.
