PORT WINE CHEESE BALL
I love this from the store, but too expensive. I found 1 recipe for this, and it didn't work. I messed around with it until it was what I wanted. The way my staff at work were acting, they think this is the best. I do too, and hope the people at recipezaar enjoy it as well.

Steps:
- In a food processor, combine cheddar cheese and cream cheese. Pulse the food processor on and off until the two are just mixed. Put this cheese mixture into a bowl.
- In the food processor, process butter until smooth. While the machine is running, pour in small amounts of Port Wine, processing steadily until well mixed.
- Add the port wine/butter mixture to the cheese mixture. Mix together with a spoon.
- Form cheese into a ball, roll in chopped pecans, or use walnuts if you'd rather.
- Serve with crackers.
- Enjoy!
OLD SCHOOL CHEESE BALL
Gotta love this recipe. . .totally from a past generation, but not forgotten. I make this frequently and got the recipe from a co-worker named Karen about 8 years ago. Simple, yet a crowd-pleaser; the kids will even eat it! I have frozen this cheese ball with great results, so feel free to make 1 for now and 1 for later - just don't roll it in nuts until it has been thawed out.

Steps:
- Let all three cheeses get to room temperature.
- With a blender, mix together all ingredients EXCEPT the nuts.
- Shape into 1 or 2 balls (I always do 2 so that there are more nuts to go around).
- Roll each cheese ball in nuts, place on a piece of waxed paper and put in the fridge to set up.
- Serve with buttery crackers on the side.
KAUKAUNA CHEESEBALL OR SPREAD
This is a recipe that I got from a co-worker. It is so good and you will have people ask you for the recipe.

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients with mixer. Shape mixture in ball and roll into shredded cheddar and nut mixture. Chill.
- Note: I usually serve this as a spread. I mix the nuts with all the other ingredients and then top with the shredded cheddar.
- Note: Kaukauna is the brand name of the cheese. You can usually find it next to the cream cheese and regular cheeses in the supermarket. It comes in a small container. It's a spreadable cheese.
