1 can (20 ounces) unsweetened crushed pineapple, undrained
1 package (3.4 ounces) JELL-O® Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 cup thawed Cool Whip® Whipped Topping
1 prepared angel food cake or 12 individual round sponge cakes
Mixed fresh berries

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, beat pineapple and pudding mix until well combined. Fold in whipped topping. Chill until ready to assemble., To fill angel food cake, slice cake horizontally into three layers. Fill and top layers with filling. Top with berries., To fill individual sponge cakes, spoon filling into cakes and top with berries., For parfaits, layer cubed angel food cake, filling and 2 cups berries in 12 dessert glasses.

1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
1 cup thawed whipped topping
1 (10 ounce) package round angel food cake, cut into 3 layers
Seasonal berries

Steps:

  • Mix pineapple and dry pudding mix in medium bowl. Gently stir in whipped topping.
  • Stack cake layers on plate, spreading pudding mixture between layers and on top of cake.
  • Refrigerate 1 hour or until ready to serve. Garnish with your favorite seasonal berries.

I got this from the Sunday paper coupon inserts. This is the perfect dessert for a warm evening when you just want something light. The hardest part was cutting the angel food cake! This is super easy to prepare but looks and tastes great! I hope you enjoy! Note: Cooking time is refrigeration time.

1 (3 1/2 ounce) package instant vanilla flavor pudding and pie filling (I used Jello-o brand, use fat-free, sugar-free if desired)
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
1 cup thawed whipped topping (I used Cool Whip brand, use light if desired)
1 (10 ounce) package prepared round angel food cake (I bought a prepared one at Wal-Mart that was 15 oz and it worked out fine)
10 small strawberries, for garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Mix dry pudding mix and pineapple with juice in medium bowl.
  • Gently stir in whipped topping.
  • Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers.
  • Place bottom cake layer, cut side up, on serving plate.
  • Spread 1 1/3 cups of pudding mixture onto cake layer.
  • Cover with middle cake layer.
  • Spread 1 cup of the pudding mixture onto middle cake layer.
  • Top with remaining cake layer.
  • Spread with remaining pudding mixture.
  • Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve.
  • Garnish with strawberries (optional).
  • Store in refrigerator.

I'd like to state, the main image is thanks to Kraft®. Humidity was not my friend when I made mine. It looked more like the last image offered. It was gobbled up too fast for photos. I scrounged the Internet to find these. Matter of fact, none of the cakes made by home cooks looked like Kraft's® photo, lol. At least they liked...

1 c thawed cool whip® whipped topping

10 fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

Steps:

  • 1. Mix pineapple and dry pudding mix. Gently stir in Cool Whip®.
  • 2. Stack cake layers on plate, spreading pudding mixture between layers and on top of cake.
  • 3. Refrigerate 1 hour. Top with berries.
