Number Of Ingredients 10

1 lb. Jimmy Dean Hot Roll Sausage
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c mayonnaise
1 c grated Monterey Jack cheese
1 c grated cheddar, plus more for sprinkling
4 jalapenos, seeds removed and minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
2 green onions, sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cook sausage, breaking the meat up with the back of a wooden spoon, in large skillet over medium-high heat until cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from skillet and let cool slightly. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Monterey Jack, cheddar, jalapeños and garlic. Fold in cooked Jimmy Dean sausage. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cut each biscuit in half and roll into a ball. Place biscuits around the edge of a cast-iron skillet, forming a ring. Brush biscuits with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse salt. Transfer cheese dip to the center of the skillet and smooth top. Sprinkle with more cheddar cheese. Bake until biscuits are golden and dip is warmed through and bubbly, 30 to 35 minutes. Garnish with green onions.
