ITALIAN SHRIMP DIP
This shrimp dip has a touch of Italian dressing mix in it, to give it a Neapolitan Flair. It's one of my husband's faves, and I can't remember where I got the recipe. Probably from his mom.

Steps:
- 1. Mix softened cream cheese, sour cream, dressing mix, lemon ljuice and green pepper. Mix with beater. Fold shrimp into mixture by hand so as not to break up shrimp. Refrigerate 24 hours. Serve in a red cabbage which has been hollowed out or in a country round loaf of rye or pumpernickel bread. use vegetable crudites or chips as dippers. Serves 6 to 8

- Combine sour cream and cream cheese.
- Beat until fluffy.
- Beat in salad dressing mix and lemon juice.
- Stir in shrimp and green pepper.
- Cover and chill several hours.
- Serve with Melba toasts or vegetables.
