Steps:
- Using a vegetable peeler, peel lemon zest in long strips (avoiding the white pith). Squeeze 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
- In a medium pot, combine cider, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and lemon zest. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer; cover and cook 10 minutes. Remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes. Add lemon juice and strain; discard solids. Serve warm, with lemon slices.
ICED COFFEE
When my sister introduced me to iced coffee, I didn't think I'd like it. Not only did I like it, I decided I could learn how to make an iced coffee recipe of my own. My fast-to-fix version is a refreshing alternative to hot java. -Jenny Reece, Lowry, Minnesota

TURMERIC ICED COFFEE LATTE
This anti-inflammatory iced coffee is spiced with turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon. It can be sweetened with your choice sweetener or not sweetened and left as a spiced iced coffee. I prefer Silk® Coconut Milk Beverage and I like to sweeten it with stevia.

ICED GINGER COFFEE
I found this recipe in a healthy heart cookbook & thought it sounded interesting. The ginger ale gives it just a tinge of ginger flavour and a slight fizz on the tongue.
