HUSBAND'S DELIGHT
Being a farm wife, I'm always looking for recipes that can go out to the field. I got this one a number of years ago from my friend who is also a farm wife. It's rich, creamy and filling.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Add the tomatoes with juice, salt and sugar and simmer for 15 minutes.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese and onion and mix well. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, place half of the egg noodles, then all of the meat mixture, then the cream mixture. Top with the remaining noodles and sprinkle with the cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25 minutes.

THE BEST HUSBAND'S DELIGHT CASSEROLE
Lasagna meets beef stroganoff in this recipe. This casserole's claim to fame is in it's name because it really is a Husband's Delight!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9×13 inch casserole dish. Brown your hamburger meat and add the 1 tsp. of garlic salt. Drain meat if needed once it is finished browning.
- In a glass mixing bowl, mix the jar of spaghetti and the envelope of dry spaghetti sauce with the browned hamburger meat.
- Take 1/3 of the cooked noodles and spread them into the dish.
- Spread about 1/3 of the meat mixture on top of the noodles.
- Spread about 1/3 of the sour cream on top of the meat.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese of your choice on top of the sour cream.
- Continue this layering process and end it with the cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes and serve.

- * Boil and drain spaghetti under hot water. * Brown meat and drain. * To meat add tomato sauce, Worchestershire sauce and salt. Simmer at least 10 minutes. * Mix cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream and onions. * Melt butter (use a little to grease casserole dish) and pour over spaghetti. * Place 1/3 spaghetti in dish, then spread 1/3 cream cheese mixture, then 1/3 meat. (Can make only two layers of each if you want.) * Top with cheddar cheese. * Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until bubbly That is it. This makes a lot!

- In large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until brown. Drain drippings. Stir garlic, sugar, salt, pepper and tomato sauce into meat. Cover, simmer 15 minutes. Cook noodles according to package directions, then drain. Stir together scallions, cream cheese and sour cream until blended. Coat 2 1/2-quart baking dish with non-stick spray. Arrange noodles on bottom of dish, cover with sauce and spread sour cream mixture over top. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

- Cook noodles according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a Dutch oven, cook beef, onion, green pepper and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain., Stir in the tomato sauce, sugar, salt and pepper. Drain noodles; stir into sauce. Pour half the beef mixture into a 13x9-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray., In a small bowl, combine the cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream and green onions. Spread over beef mixture. There's already a recipe here with the same name, but this one serves more and the ingredients are a little different. Very good! Prep time is approximate. Cook time includes browning the beef.

Steps:
- Brown ground beef, bell peppers, and garlic together and drain.
- Cook noodles as directed then drain.
- Add noodles, sugar, and tomato sauce to ground beef and stir.
- Combine sour cream, cottage cheese, cream cheese, and chopped onion.
- Put into a 3-quart casserole dish a layer of noodles and meat, then a layer of cheese mixture.
- Add the last of meat and noodle mixture.
- Last of all add grated cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
