HUMPTY DUMPTY DIP

Used this recipe at a party and served it with Wheat Thins and Ritz crackers. You can use it with regular chips too. Tastes great!

Number Of Ingredients 7

6 large hard boiled eggs
1 c ham, finely chopped
2 Tbsp onions, vidalia, finely chopped
2 Tbsp green pepper, finely chopped
1/3 c ranch salad dressing
1/2 c french onion chip dip
1/2 c cool ranch doritos, crushed

Steps:

  • 1. Chop eggs. Add ham, onions and green peper. In a seperate bowl, blend dressing and dip. Add to egg mixture. Just before serving, stir in crushed chips.
  • 2. Makes about 2 cups.

I have enjoyed these cookies for a long time and misplaced the recipe. In going through my numerous cookbooks, I found it and wanted to share with everyone. The frosting calls for a chocolate butter cream frosting but I just make a powdered sugar frosting and add cocoa to it.

Number Of Ingredients 11

5 c flour
4 chocolate, unsweetened squares, melted and cooled
1 c butter flavored crisco
2 c brown sugar
1 c buttermilk
1 c chopped nuts
1 c raisins
1 Tbsp vanilla
4 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt

Steps:

  • 1. Cream sugar, shortening, and vanilla. Add chocolate and eggs; beat well. Alternate flour with dry ingredients and buttermilk.
  • 2. 400 degrees - 12 - 15 minutes; drop rounded tsp. onto greased cookie sheet. ENJOY!
