2 cups white sugar
2 ¼ cups fresh lemon juice
7 cups cool water
2 cups ice
¾ cup blueberries

Steps:

  • Boil one cup of water with the sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until the liquid becomes clear. Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice. Pour 7 cups of cool water and ice into a serving pitcher. Add the lemon syrup and blueberries; stir until you get a 'hot pink' color.

4 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
4 teaspoons honey
3 cups boiling water
12 whole cloves
4 lemon wedges
12 honey-drop candies

Steps:

  • Pour 2 tablespoons simple syrup in each of four heatproof glasses or mugs. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon honey, and 3/4 cup boiling water to each; stir until honey dissolves.
  • Stick 3 cloves into each lemon wedge; drop a wedge and 3 candies into each drink. Serve immediately.

  • Bring 1 cup water to a boil. Add the lavender and lemon zest; cover and steep for 1 hour.
  • Strain the lavender mixture into a 2-quart or larger pitcher. Add lemon juice, sugar and remaining 3 cups water; stir until sugar dissolves.
