CHILI CHEESE DOG CASSEROLE

- Prepare cornbread batter according to package directions. Spread half the batter into a greased 8-in. square baking dish; set aside. , In a large skillet, saute the green pepper, onion and celery in oil until crisp-tender. Stir in hot dogs; saute until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes longer. Stir in the chili, brown sugar, garlic powder and chili powder; heat through. Stir in 3/4 cup cheese. , Spoon over cornbread batter; top with remaining cornbread batter. Sprinkle remaining cheese over the top., Bake, uncovered, at 350° until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 28-32 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

HOT DOG LASAGNA
If you're craving a little more starch and something to bite into, then you can certainly add the lasagna noodles. Just cook the pasta to package instructions and layer it in all the hot dogs, sauce and cheese!

- Pre-heat oven to 375°F.
- Slice each hot dog lengthwise into 3 thin slices. Set aside.
- In medium bowl, combine ricotta, egg, parsley, garlic salt and onion salt. In another bowl combine the mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- In a 9"x13" baking pan, pour 1/3 of the pasta sauce. Layer 1/2 of the hot dog slices in a single layer. Then layer 1/2 of the ricotta mixture on top of the hot dogs, then 1/2 of the mozzarella/parmesan cheese mix.Layer the next 1/3 the pasta sauce, remainder of the hot dog slices, and remainder of ricotta mixture. Top with remaining pasta sauce and then mozzarella/parmesan cheese mixture.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until the lasagna is hot and bubbly and the cheese is lightly browned. Top with the unnecessary parsley garnish if desired ;) . Serve warm.

This isn't your usual noodle type of lasagna, but the layers of sliced hot dogs, beans, and cheese make a lasagna look. It's great for a potluck barbecue. Just place it on the grill and enjoy!

- 1. #1 Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. #2 In a disposable 8-inch square aluminum pan, layer half of the beans, then half of the hot dogs, and half of the cheese. Repeat with remaining beans, hot dogs, and cheese. #3 Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and place on the grill. Close the grill cover and heat the beans for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and the hot dogs and beans are heated through.
- 2. This can be put together ahead of time, then kept covered and refrigerated (uncooked). Cook it when you're ready, but add 4 to 5 minutes to the cooking time.
