2 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
2 cups seasoned croutons
8 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 pound fresh crabmeat
salt and pepper to taste
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish.
  • In large bowl, mix the eggs, milk, croutons, cheese, onion, and parsley. Stir in the crabmeat. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon into the prepared baking dish, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted into center of the casserole comes out clean. Serve immediately.

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 medium green onions, thinly sliced (1/4 cup)
1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 cup dry white wine or apple juice
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground mustard
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 can (6 ounces) crabmeat, drained, cartilage removed and flaked
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Mix all ingredients except crabmeat, almonds and crackers in medium bowl until well blended. Stir in crabmeat.
  • Spread crabmeat mixture in ungreased pie plate, 9x1 1/4 inches, or shallow 1-quart casserole. Sprinkle with almonds.
  • Bake uncovered 15 to 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Serve with crackers.

1 can(s) lump crab meat
1-#2 can(s) tomatoes, drained
2 teaspoon(s) worcestershire sauce

- cheese bisquit topping
1 cup(s) flour
2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1/4 cup(s) shredded velveeta
2 tablespoon(s) crisco
1/2 cup(s) milk

Steps:

  • Melt Crisco in top of double boiler. Add green pepper & onion. Cook until tender. Blend in flour, dry mustard, accent, milk & Velveeta. Cook, stirring until Velveeta is melted. Add crabmeat, tomatoes, worchestershire & salt. Pour into 2 qt. casserole.
  • Cheese Biscuit Topping: Sift together flour, baking powder & salt. Add Velveeta & cut in Crisco until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add milk & mix until flour is dampened. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on top of cobbler. Bake @ 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup pimiento, chopped
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup half-and-half
2 tablespoons lemon juice, fresh
salt, to taste
cayenne, to taste
1 lb crabmeat, lump, picked over for shells and cartilage
8 biscuits, flaky, refrigerator-style (uncooked)
1/4 cup white cheddar cheese, aged, grated

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • Melt the butter in a medium-size saucepan over medium heat. Add the green onions, celery and pimentos and cook, stirring, until the vegetables are just soft, about 6 minutes. Blend in the flour. Slowly add the half-and-half, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thick and creamy.
  • Add the lemon juice and season with salt and cayenne. Gently stir in the crabmeat. Spoon the mixture into a lightly greased oval baking dish. Arrange the biscuits over the mixture and bake until they are golden brown, 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Let sit for a few minutes while the cheese melts. Serve warm.

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
Chopped fresh parsley, if desired
Toasted French bread rounds or crackers, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, mustard and garlic salt until blended. Fold in crabmeat.

1 cup boned crabmeat
1 1/2 cups drained tomatoes
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 enriched flour
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon msg
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 cup American cheese, shredded
1 cup sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons shortening
1/4 shredded American cheese
1/2 cup milk
1 cup milk

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450°F.
  • Melt butter on top of double broiler, add in onion and green pepper.
  • Cook over boiling water until tender--approximately 10 minutes.
  • Blend in the mustard, flour, msg, milk, and cheese.
  • Stir constantly until cheese has melted and mixture has thickened.
  • Add crabmeat, tomatoes, Worcestershire, and salt.
  • Blend, combining thoroughly.
  • Pour mixture into 2 quart casserole dish.
  • In bowl, sift in flour, baking powder, salt, and cheese.
  • Cut in the shortening until particles are fine.
  • Add the milk.
  • Mix only until flour has moistened.
  • Drop by rounded teaspoons over hot crabmeat mix.
  • Bake 20-25 minutes.
