1 cup sweet potato puree
2 ½ cups almond milk

Steps:

  • Add dark chocolate, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, sweet potato puree and almond milk to a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Whisk to combine and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally to incorporate chocolate.
  • Once mixture is smooth and heated through, remove from heat.
  • Serve warm.

12 cups nonfat dry milk powder (2 pounds)
3-3/4 cups confectioners' sugar
4 cups instant chocolate drink mix
1 jar (6 ounces) powdered nondairy creamer

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients in a very large bowl. Store in an airtight container. To serve, mix 1/3 cup mix with 1 cup boiling water.

1/3 cup hot water
4 cups milk
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Miniature marshmallows, sweetened whipped cream or cinnamon sticks, optional

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa and salt. Add water; bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in milk; heat to serving temperature (do not boil). Remove from the heat; stir in vanilla. Whisk until frothy. If desired, garnish with marshmallows, cream or cinnamon sticks.
