BUTTERFLY HONEY PORK FILLETS



Butterfly Honey Pork Fillets image

Great new way to prepare butterflied pork chops!

Number Of Ingredients 4

4 pork chops
4 teaspoons honey
½ cup Worcestershire sauce
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • In a shallow glass dish or bowl, mix together honey and Worcestershire sauce. Add pork chops and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for no more than 4 hours to marinate.
  • Lightly oil grill and preheat to medium low.
  • Remove pork chops from marinade. Season with pepper to taste and grill for 35 to 40 minutes, turning often.

4 pork chops
4 teaspoons honey
2 cups Worcestershire sauce
ground black pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Slice each chop down the center horizontally, cutting not quite through. Open flat to resemble a butterfly. You can also ask your butcher to prepare the meat in this way.
  • In a large, shallow dish, mix together honey and Worcestershire sauce. Marinate pork chops in the mixture for no more than 4 hours.
  • Prepare barbecue for indirect cooking.
  • Pepper the chops to taste, and place on well oiled grate. Cook over medium low heat for 35 to 40 minutes.

3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1/4 cup light soy sauce
4 tablespoons liquid honey
4 pork fillets

Steps:

  • Blend together the garlic, tomato ketchup, soy sauce and honey.
  • Marinate pork fillets in this mixture for 2 hours, turning to evenly coat with the marinade.
  • Preheat oven to 200°C.
  • Bake pork on a wire rack over a baking dish for 30-35 minutes in oven, basting with remaining marinade.
