1 cup water (spring water)
1 large lemon
1 tablespoon honey (I recommend local & unpasteurised, raw if wished)
1 small dashes orange blossom water (or to taste, Store bought or Exotic Orange Blossom Water and Rose Water - Make Your Own!)

Steps:

  • Squeeze juice from lemons into water and add honey & orange blossom water.
  • Mix together thoroughly and chill before serving, if not using cold water already.
  • Enjoy!

1 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup honey
6 cups sparkling water or 6 cups still cold water
1 lemon, zest of
coarse salt, of your choice
lemon wedges or lime wedge

Steps:

  • Combine lemon juice and honey in a saucepan.
  • Heat until honey is completely blended with the juice.
  • Chill until cold, then stir and pour into a large pitcher. Add cold water and stir to combine completely.
  • Mix lemon zest with finishing salt in a small dish.
  • Rub the rim of serving glasses with a wedge of lemon or lime.
  • Invert glass into dish of salt and turn to coat rim.
  • Add ice and lemonade. Serve immediately.

These tasty carrot bites are nice to keep in the refrigerator for when you want a quick bite of something sweet, or need a little pick-me-up between meals or after a workout. Number Of Ingredients 9

2 carrots, peeled and roughly chopped
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup raw cashews
5 -6 dates, pitted and roughly chopped (I use nice soft Medjool Dates)
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (I use a little more to fit our taste)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 orange, zest of
sesame seeds, for rolling in
unsweetened dried shredded coconut, for rolling in

Steps:

  • In a food processor fitted with the S-blade, process carrots untill finely ground. Remove and set aside.
  • Process the walnuts and cashews in the food processor (no need to clean it out) until finely ground.
  • Add the dates and process until finely chopped and incorporated into the nuts.
  • Add the reserved carrots, ginger, cinnamon, orange zest (if using) and process until dough forms.
  • Shape the mixture into 15-18 small balls.
  • Roll in sesame seeds or shredded coconut to coat.
  • Refrigerate until ready to enjoy. Can be refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Honey Lemonade image

The honey/water syrup may be refrigerated and used to make lemonade a glass at a time. To serve, mix 4 T syrup to 1 1/2 T lemon juice and 1 c water per person. Pour into iced glasses.
