1 jar(s) honey
1 ginger root, pealed and sliced thin
canning jar qt, pint or half pint depending on if you are doing as gifts

Steps:

  • 1. For each cup honey add 6-8 thin slices ginger root, mix together and put in a glass jar. Allow to sit for a week or two before serving to blend flavors and allow the ginger to leak into the honey. give with this tag
  • 2. Honey Ginger Tea Great for the cold and flu season. Also a great warm drink to unwind with. To prepare 1-2 teaspoons in a mug of boiling water. stir and serve.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1-inch piece ginger root, peeled
1 large strip lemon rind
6 cups water
1/3 cup honey, eyeball it
1 lemon, juiced
4 camomile or other tea bags

Steps:

  • Slice the ginger into coins. Heat the ginger, lemon rind, water and honey to a boil in small pot. Add lemon juice to hot water and transfer to a tea pot. Add tea bags to pot and steep. Remove bags and serve tea.
