1.5 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
1 oz. fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon honey simple syrup
ice, to taste
sparkling water for topping (~1/2 cup)
garnish: grapefruit wedges and fresh rosemary
1.5 oz. vodka
1.5 oz. fresh orange juice
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
1 tablespoon honey simple syrup
sparkling water for topping (~1/2 cup)
ice, to taste
garnish: orange wedges

Steps:

  • Start by adding lime juice, lime wedges, vodka, simple syrup, and fresh mint into a cocktail shaker and use a muddle to release the flavors from the mint leaves.
  • Then, add a handful of ice and put the top onto the cocktail shaker. Shake for 30 seconds to mix.
  • Pour into a glass with ice and top with sparkling water. Garnish with more fresh mint and lime wedges.

Steps:

  • Muddle 4 slices of cucumber in a cocktail shaker. Fill shaker with 1 cup of ice cubes, lime juice, and vodka. Cover and shake until chilled, 15 to 20 seconds. Fill 2 rocks glasses with ice and strain cocktail over. Top with club soda. Garnish with remaining cucumber slices.

1 cup water
3/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 6 limes)
2 liters seltzer water

Steps:

  • Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan; place over medium heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sugar has completely dissolved, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat; transfer to an ice bath to cool, or let stand at room temperature until cool. Stir in lime juice. Fill large pitcher with ice, pour in the limeade, and top with seltzer. Stir well and serve.
