4 ounces uncooked spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2/3 cup condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1/2 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
2 teaspoons diced pimientos, drained
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Dash pepper
3/4 cup cubed fully cooked ham

Steps:

  • Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the cheese, soup, milk, parsley, pimientos, onion, Worcestershire sauce and pepper., Drain spaghetti; add to soup mixture. Spread half into a 1-1/2-qt. baking dish coated with cooking spray. Layer with ham and remaining spaghetti mixture. , Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly.

1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons dry white wine or apple juice
2 cups cut-up cooked chicken
1/2 cup cut-up fully cooked smoked ham
1 small green bell pepper, chopped ( 1/2 cup)
1/4 cup sliced pitted ripe olives
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°. Cook and drain linguine as directed on package.
  • While linguine is cooking, mix soups, milk and wine in ungreased 2-quart casserole. Stir in linguine, chicken, ham, bell pepper and olives. Sprinkle with cheese.
  • Bake uncovered about 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with almonds.

1 (16 ounce) package elbow macaroni
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup diced ham
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 cup frozen peas

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook elbow macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked through but firm to the bite, 8 minutes. Drain.
  • Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat; cook and stir onion in the hot oil until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add diced ham; cook and stir until ham pieces are slightly browned, about 5 more minutes. Stir cream of mushroom soup and milk into ham and onion, stirring until smoothly combined. Mix in Cheddar cheese, salt, black pepper, and peas. Simmer until thickened, about 5 more minutes.

8 oz uncooked spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
1 bag (24 oz) Value Size frozen broccoli & three cheese sauce
1 cup cubed fully cooked ham
1/4 cup milk
1 jar (16 oz) Alfredo pasta sauce
1 jar (2 oz) diced pimientos, drained
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Cook and drain spaghetti as directed on package. Cook frozen broccoli as directed on bag.
  • In ungreased 2-quart casserole, mix cooked broccoli, ham, milk, Alfredo sauce and pimientos. Gently stir in cooked spaghetti; cover.
  • Bake 35 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese.

1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup green pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/4 cups 1% low-fat milk
3/4 cup low-fat cheddar cheese, shredded
1 1/2 cups shredded roasted skinless chicken breast halves (about 5 oz.)
7/8 cup lean ham, finely chopped
3/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 can low fat reduced-sodium cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 (4 ounce) jar diced pimentos, drained
vegetable oil cooking spray
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons sliced almonds

  • Cook spaghetti according to directions, omitting salt and fat; drain well.
  • Rinse under cold running water; drain well and set aside Melt margarine in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.

This is a favorite dish from my childhood. I don't know where my mother got the recipe, but it is obviously a variation on the more familiar Turkey Tetrazzini.

4 ounces vermicelli, broken into 2 inch pieces
1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms
1 small onion, finely chopped
4 tablespoons margarine
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 1/2 cups milk
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 cups ham, cut into bite-sized pieces
parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • Cook vermicelli according to package directions; return to pan.
  • Drain liquid from mushrooms and add enough water to make 1 cup; dissolve the bouillon cubes in this liquid.
  • In a medium saucepan, saute the onion in the margarine until soft.
  • Stir in flour and mustard; cook, stirring constantly, just until bubbly.
  • Stir in the milk and the mushroom liquid mixture.
  • Cook and stir until the sauce thickens and boils for 1 minute.
  • Pour sauce over vermicelli, then stir in mushrooms and ham.
  • Pour into a baking dish that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.
  • Sprinkle with Parmesan. (Amount to taste, but I think it tastes best with the top surface of the casserole pretty much covered.)
  • Bake at 350° about 1/2 hour, or until bubbly hot.

2 1/2 c diced ham
1-7oz pkg spaghetti noodles, broken up
3/4 c milk
1 can(s) cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s) cream of chicken soup
1/2 c green bell pepper, chopped
2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 c parmesan cheese, grated

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 2 quart casserole with cooking spray.
  • 2. Cook broken (2 to 3 inch pieces) speghetti as per package directions.
  • 3. Combine all ingredients together, except for Parmesan cheese.
  • 4. Add cooked broken speghetti to soup mixture, lightly stir and turn into prepared 2 quart casserole dish.
  • 5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake uncover at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Allow to cool 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
  • 6. Great meal when served with a salad and garlic bread... throw in brownies with vanilla bean ice cream for a well rounded meal!! Yummy List definite!!

2 tablespoons chopped pimento peppers

Steps:

  • Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain (or use leftover pasta; see Cook's Note).
  • While pasta is cooking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in onion; cook and stir until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes.
  • Stir in cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup water, and shredded cheese. Heat mixture until cheese melts, stirring often.
