Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine ham, broccoli, onion, parsley, mustard and cheese. Stir well.
- Unroll crescent roll dough, and arrange flat on a medium baking sheet. Pinch together perforations to form a single sheet of dough. Using a knife or scissors, cut 1 inch wide strips in towards the center, starting on the long sides. There should be a solid strip about 3 inches wide down the center, with the cut strips forming a fringe down each side. Spread the filling along the center strip. Fold the side strips over filling, alternating strips from each side. Pinch or twist to seal.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until deep golden brown.

Steps:
- Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Roll loaf or combined dinner rolls into a 12x16-inch rectangle. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap and let rest 10-15 minutes. In a large bowl combine ham, broccoli, cheese, mushrooms, mayonnaise, mustard, pepper and basil and mix well. Remove wrap from dough. Spoon mixture lengthwise in a 4-inch wide strip down center of dough. Make cuts 1 1/2-inches apart on long sides of dough to within 1/2-inch of filling. Begin braid by folding top & bottom strips toward filling. Then braid strips left over right, right over left twisting each strip once. Finish by pulling last strip over and tucking under braid. Lift braid with both hands and place on large sprayed baking sheet. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350°F 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly and slice to serve.
